Can Beauty Supplements Replace Sunscreen? No.

No beauty supplement replaces sunscreen.

What sunscreen does that a supplement cannot

Broad-spectrum sunscreen creates labeled, topical protection on exposed skin. A supplement cannot provide a measurable SPF layer or replace reapplication.

Use a layered sun-protection routine

  • Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen as directed.
  • Use shade, protective clothing, sunglasses and a hat when practical.
  • Reapply sunscreen based on the product directions and your activity.
  • Treat antioxidant or beauty supplements as optional support, not as sunscreen.

What about Polypodium leucotomos?

Some beauty formulas, including Luxxe White Ultima, contain Polypodium leucotomos. That does not turn the supplement into sunscreen and does not replace topical UV protection.

The simple rule: sunscreen handles sun protection; supplements stay supplements.
